| FARR 45.
The Farr 45, official boat for the Admiral's Cup and the One Ton Cup (until recently known as the Corel 45) is a 10/11-handed one-design 45-footer (13.86m ) designed by Farr International for those wanting a fast, simple and exciting 45 foot one design race boat.
It has proved itself competitive under IRM and IRC, and with its triple spreader sweptback rig and masthead spinnakers gives stunning downwind performance yet with its bulb keel remains stable and easily controlled. Fast and easy to handle, it associates a carbon/kevlar "hi-tech" building with great simplicity of use.

The UK yacht Serano won Cowes week IRM with a day to spare and with Wolf and Hawk second and fourth it shows the competitiveness of the boat. The class tends to winter in the Mediterranean and return to the UK to race Round the Island, Cork week, IRM nationals and Cowes week.
The Farr 45 is regarded as a top level one-design class and counts 21 units (among which 14 in Europe). A regular and dynamic international tour draws the best crews in the world.
