RACE1 KER 11.3

Philip Crebbin, a Director of Race1 and an experienced Olympic, America's Cup and Admiral's Cup sailor, made the following comments about the Race1 Ker 11.3 IRM One-Design:

"I am delighted that Race1 is able to be involved with this exciting project. The performance of the Jason Ker designed boats was a revelation in the Commodore's Cup. I was sailing on a 40 footer and was on the receiving end of having a Ker 10.7 (35 1/2 ft) sailing past us on a regular basis. The greater speed of the 11.3 (37 1/2 ft) convinces me that it will indeed be faster boat for boat than all of the one-design 40ft boats out there. As it will rate lower under both IRM and IRC it will be a very potent handicap boat as well as being a great one-design. I am also confident that it will become a prime candidate for future Admiral's Cup selection. The Race1 Ker 11.3 repesents the future of grand prix racing in the 21st century in the 37ft to 40ft range. I can't wait to be out there racing one."
