RACE1 KER 11.3 WINS MANCHES CUP.

June 3, 2004

FAEGRE BENSON HOBSON AUDLEY WINS AGAIN AT THE RECORD BREAKING 2004 MANCHES CUP SAILING REGATTA

The 14th and largest ever Manches Cup was staged on 14-16 May on the Solent, with 70 crews competing for the divisional prizes and the Manches Cup Championship Trophy. The entry list, a who's who of the law, comprised most of the UK's top 50 law firms, a host of major international firms, leading barristers chambers and suppliers to the legal industry.

Light airs for the first race on Saturday were followed by a stronger sea breeze for the second race, leading to a test of competitors' abilities in the changing conditions.

The Faegre Benson Hobson Audley team on the Race 1 Ker 11.3 "Blue Belle" won Division Two, counting a first and a second.

Michael Cover of Faegre Benson Hobson Audley and skipper of "Blue Belle" commented:

"We are delighted to have won our Division. I would like to recognise the involvement of the whole Faegre crew.

We now also hold the other two main legal sailing trophies, the Hays ZMB In-House Legal Challenge and the Legal Week Challenge. The Manches Cup was a fantastic event and the organisers, Britannia Corporate Events, did a great job."
