January 28, 2002: A detail of the aft end of the cockpit showing the stepped cockpit floor.

January 28, 2002: The deck plug, coated in epoxy, just before final finishing.

January 4, 2002: The completed hull mould after post-curing and before polishing.

December 21, 2001: The hull mould is tucked up in Ovington Marine's oven for the Christmas and New Year break, to receive the thorough post-cure that will provide both its strength and geometric accuracy.

December 21, 2001: The hull mould is complete and the substantial framing, that ensures each hull has exactly the shape intended by Jason Ker, has been added.

December 15, 2001: The deck plug has been skinned and the hatch openings have been added.

December 15, 2001: The port side of the hull mould has been completed and the second skin of the starboard side is about to be laminated.

December 7, 2001: The hull plug with the centreline flange added, just before the start of making the hull mould.

December 1, 2001: The hull plug being polished. The yellow box behind the transom is the laser used to align the waterline and centreline.

November 30, 2001: The deck plug with stringers in place and the main hatch opening started.

November 28, 2001: The hull plug immediately after its final spraying of high-build paint.

November 20, 2001: Shot of the frames for the deck plug being erected.

November 20, 2001: The hull plug fully planked and after preliminary fairing - as soon as the dust from fairing the cedar was blown off, the surface was wetted prior to putting a glass skin on it - hence the apparently 'wet' patches near the centreline.

November 12, 2001: The hull plug with all frames erected and the first strips of cedar planking on at the gunwhale.
