Sydney 40 - Introduction
We are proud to announce that Sydney Yachts have appointed Race1 to manage their Sydney 40 Champagne Mumm Admiral's Cup One Design fleet. This superb Iain Murray designed, state of the art Grand Prix racing machine will fully engage its crew in all conditions, involving the closest racing and terrific performance. Winning in the class will be a true test of skill, teamwork and strategy. It is the essence of the one design concept and raises the game of all its players.

Sydney 40 in action at world championships, Palma

Under the slogan of "U 2 can Race 1", we will broaden the experience of sailors in these fine yachts, opening the sport to wider participation and maximising the turnout at key regattas. The owners' interests are satisfied through having their yachts supervised, managed and chartered in a professional, organised and secure environment.

In addition to Philip Crebbin's race training programme, Race1 has developed an innovative corporate teamwork and leadership course that complements the qualities of the Sydney 40. A modified version is currently in use in top business schools and companies. Race1's teamwork associate, Geoff Burton, is one of Britain's leading exponents of this challenging and stimulating approach to personal and corporate improvement.
