The Viper is a 3 man keelboat, but it performs like and has to be sailed like a large dinghy as it only has a small bulb on its keel. However, the keel and bulb make it much more forgiving than a regular dinghy and so any sailor can enjoy the exhilaration of real speed without constantly worrying about going swimming!

Race1's Philip Crebbin adds, "It is similar in speed to larger sportsboats, like the 1720, and is very competitive with the Melges 24 in all conditions, yet it is a very simply laid out boat that is much easier and less expensive to sail, including being very easy to launch direct from its trailer.
